    Hello,

I have been researching some antique furniture that My Late Aunt brought to America from England around 1970. I came across this antique blog. I was looking for a catalogue for Maple and Co furniture. I was wondering if you would help me to further identify the wardrobe I have been trying to find?

I believe it was made around 1890 because of the stamps on the original hardware but have never found a piece of furniture that meets the detail of this wardrobe.

Your blog is very interesting… Thank you for your time.

      Hello Teresa,

thanks for your note, and I’m so pleased to hear you are enjoying the Blog. RE the Maples catalogues – there are a few archives that hold examples of Maples catalogues (you could do a search on Google and see) – the University of Leeds also has some examples of Maples catalogues as part of the John Bedford collection. Maybe the best thing to do is to post a photo of your wardrobe on something like Instagram or X and see if anyone is able to help?….
      Hope that helps,
      Very best wishes

Thank you for responding to my comment. I sent you a few pictures. I have found similar but not this exact one. Have done a lot of research. Wish that I could ask My Aunt where she bought it? Where? All I know is she was from England.

        Thanks again,

        Teresa
